Shouvick Mukherjee 

CEO, Yahoo! India

 

Shouvick Mukherjee is responsible for the Yahoo! India Research & Development. He is based out of Bangalore and will spearhead initiatives that will take the centre to the next level. Shouvick will be responsible for Yahoo! India R&D strategy and for all technologies and product developed from India.
 
Shouvick moved from Sunnyvale in 2003 and he brings rich experience in Internet Product and Technology development. He is a 10 year Yahoo! veteran and has been in the Yahoo! Sunnyvale HQ for 5 years before moving to Bangalore. Shouvick has played key leadership roles in Yahoo! US and Bangalore to lead multiple products and technology areas like Data systems, Advertising systems, Listing and Media products. Shouvick has lead almost all product lines - internet consumer and in the advertising space in Yahoo.

 


Prabkhakar Raghavan

Senior Vice President, Chief Scientist,

& Head of Yahoo! Labs

 

Prabhakar Raghavan is Senior Vice President, Yahoo's Chief Scientist and Head of Yahoo! Labs. In his role as Chief Scientist, Raghavan is responsible for developing the long-term technical vision for Yahoo!'s business. In addition, he works to extend Yahoo!'s scientific leadership in several disciplines critical to innovation in consumer Web experiences and online advertising. At Yahoo! Labs he has overseen the growth of the research, applied science and academic relations functions globally, with major Yahoo! Labs centers of excellence in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Raghavan is a Member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the ACM and of the IEEE, and Consulting Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. Prior to joining Yahoo! he was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Verity, before which he held various technical and managerial positions at IBM Research. Raghavan holds a PhD from Berkeley and is the author of textbooks on algorithms and on information retrieval, along with numerous papers and patents.


Cheryl Ainoa

SVP of Global Service Engineering, Yahoo!

 

Cheryl Ainoa is the SVP of Global Service Engineering for Yahoo!  In this role, she leads the teams that manage all Yahoo! applications in production worldwide—ensuring scalable, highly available and high performing experiences for every Y! user.  Previous to her current role, Cheryl ran development for Yahoo!’s Media products for five years during which time the Finance, Sports and News products achieved #1 market positions.  Prior to Yahoo!, Cheryl spent 15 years in positions of technical leadership at companies such as Broderbund Software, Genealogy.com, Healtheon/WebMD, Informix Software and  Impac Medical Systems.  Cheryl has a B.S.E.E from Washington State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

 


Rasesh Shah

Rasesh Shah is the technology evangelist for the PayPal X Developer Network helping developers to monetize their ideas and applications using PayPal Payments Platform.

Prior to PayPal, Rasesh worked at eBay building an ecommerce platform and helped opening up this platform to build verticals and applications. Rasesh has more than 15 years of experience in B2B/B2C ecommerce, Mobile and online advertising and Enterprise applications.

 


Jeff Kinder

 Senior Vice President,

 Yahoo! Media Products & Solutions 

 

Jeff Kinder is Senior Vice President of Yahoo! Media Products & Solutions (MPS), which includes its global R&D centers in Bangalore and Beijing. Under his leadership, the global MPS team has the charter of transforming Yahoo!’s anchor media properties into global products, while also ensuring Yahoo! continues to deliver custom solutions and regional products for consumers and advertisers in their markets.

Prior to this role, Mr. Kinder was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Yahoo! leading Small Business and Recruitment Advertising (SBR), a team of over 900 people managing revenue of more than $1 billion among Yahoo! HotJobs, Yahoo! Small Business, and Search and Display Advertising for small and medium-sized businesses. Mr. Kinder was responsible for all aspects of operations in SBR including sales, marketing, product development, engineering and business development.

Before joining Yahoo! in June 2007, Mr. Kinder served as Senior Vice President at Cendant Corporation, a conglomerate provider of travel, real estate and transportation services and including brands such as Avis, Budget, Wyndham Hotels, Orbitz, CheapTickets, Coldwell Banker, and Century 21. In five years at Cendant, Mr. Kinder ran several online businesses where he improved profitability and drove significant growth. His roles included general management, product development, corporate development, and strategy. He also managed the split of Cendant into four independent multi-billion dollar companies in 2007.

Preceding Cendant, Mr. Kinder was a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, then co-founded Adventureseek, Inc. and later negotiated its acquisition by Unexplored, Inc. Mr. Kinder began his career as a software engineer for BDM (now a subsidiary of TRW).

Mr. Kinder holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

CEO, Greynium 


Mahesh co-founded Indiainfo.com in the year 2000. Indiainfo.com saw an upright acceptance among the Internet audience and soon became a popular online destination for both Indians and NRIs. Under his leadership, Indiainfo.com survived the Dotcom bust and saw multifold growth over the years, to gain a preeminent position.

Mahesh has been driving Indian languages on the internet since 2000. Mahesh founded Greynium Information Technologies Pvt in 2006 which owns Oneindia.in & click.in (a classified portal). In April 2010 Greynium got acquired by Mumbai based Netcore Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Mahesh has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Mysore University & graduate degree in Computer Science from University of Alamaba at Brimingham.
